We honor EQR mothers

Updated: Dec 11, 2019

Not everyone celebrates Mother's Day on the same day and the same way worldwide.

At EQR, we cherish the people working at our farms. One single day is not enough to express our gratitude, so we found the best way to thank them for their hard work.

Maria, one of the many mothers who work at our farms, remembers how hard things were for her and her family when she started working at EQR eight years ago.

Back then, the 27th-year-old and newly mother, Maria, concerned about the uncertainty of education her young children were about to have when they reach their school age.

Maria is one of the 45% of the women and mother, whose daily hard work results in beautiful and perfect roses. They are carefully hand-pick, treat, and pack thousands of roses to end into lovely bunches delivered at our customers' doors.

Just like any other great chain of favors, our customers, EQR executive team, and middle leadership levels are giving Maria and all the rest of the families the peace in mind by supporting an elementary school the company is building and opening by 2020.

And the best part is that most of you dearest readers and customers may be surprised because you did not know how much you are part of this fantastic project.

We promise to keep you updated about the kids who soon will be able to receive a high-quality education.

The elementary school will be a safe environment with the best possible education to bright up the kids' present and future.

This elementary school will be as Maria says, “a true blessing not only for her but for all the mothers who work at EQR.”

As for all of us, the better way to celebrate hard-working mom's special day is appreciating and showing gratitude with the best possible actions.
